Ignighter Blog Comes Home, Ignighter Leaves Town
This is our first blog entry on our new blog location, Ignighter.com/blog. It feels great to finally steal our blog back from its adoptive parents and return it home, to its biological ones. I’m not sure if that analogy really holds up, but you get the point. Ignighter is finally on Ignighter territory and we’re really excited about that.
Fittingly - or maybe unfittingly - we’re also using this post to announce that Ignighter has left its hometown of New York City for the summer to work in Boulder, CO. I know we’ve vaguely mentioned that before, but until now we haven’t said why we’re here. Well the day has come. You can finally stop waiting by the phone and incessantly refreshing our blog waiting for the news.
Ignighter was one of 10 companies selected to attend TechStars 2008!

It’s a truly amazing opportunity for the company and, needless to say, we’re super excited. At least we assume we’d probably get super excited if we could catch our collective breath for a moment and take a break from working. The program is only two days deep and already we’re overwhelmed with all of the amazing mentorship and motivation we’ve gotten in our two consecutive 16-hour work days.
If you are a friend or family-member reading, we ask you to please bare with us if it takes a little while for us to return a call, text, or email. We promise we’re not deliberately ignoring you (except for you Ryan, we probably are deliberately ignoring you).
Anyway, throughout the summer on the blog, we’ll be talking about Ignighter of course, but also keeping people updated on the cool stuff we’re doing/learning at TechStars and the way it is shaping our product/service.
Of course we welcome any questions if you’re curious about learning more. Back to work for now!
