Ignighter Needs a Developer
Ignighter is looking for a web developer in the Boulder area to come work with us at TechStars.
We are a young 2008 TechStars company looking for a young, hungry, rockstar developer to join our team. Ignighter was one of ten startups out of nearly 400 applicants accepted into TechStars, a summer long startup incubator program. The exposure you’ll receive here at TechStars will jumpstart your career as a software developer in the startup community.
The right candidate will play a huge role in the development of our site and your input will be highly valued. You must really “get” our vision, be passionate about our concept, and be driven to succeed. Also, we’re really fun people, and if you are too, that wouldn’t hurt! This is a great opportunity join a startup that already has some traction, press, and funding. What else are we looking for?
*Capability to assume significant responsibility for the continued development of a young, beta-version website and application
*Strong functional knowledge of PHP & MySQL
*Strong command of CSS, LAMP development, HTML/XHTML, and Javascript
*Functional understanding of AJAX.
*Thorough skills in cross-browser compatibility strategies
*Ability to handle scalability issues quickly and effectively
*BS/MS in CS or equivalent
*Object oriented programming
*Facebook API experience is a huge plus
