Forgive Me Eric, But We’re Copying You
Since we’ve had the real fortune of talking to, and listening to, and learning from, and sharing margaritas with the uber-wise MyBlogLog founder, Eric Marcoullier over the past couple days, we figured we’d take a page out of his blog repertoire this evening. Even though he sort of alluded to its lameness and blog-fascists may call it taboo, we think the Forgive Me, It’s Been X Days Since My Last Post is fun to break out every once in a while. And honestly, if Eric does it, then it’s simply west coast smooth in our book.
Typically the “X” in the Forgive Me posts is at least 10 days. But having been fairly consistent with our posting frequency and living in the TechStars bubble, where your days are packed with work and meetings and your nights are…uhhh packed with work and meetings, two and half days feels like an eternity. So without further ado:
Forgive Me, It’s Been Two and a Half Days Since My Last Post
Between the morning of June 10th and this evening, June 12th, we (keep in mind there are three of us):
- Hitch-hiked to work once (actually Seth saw us waiting for the bus and picked us up).
- Ate 75% of our collective meals at Salvaggio’s Deli.
- Had a really fun night of margaritas with a bunch of peeps from TechStars, Me.dium, and Gnip.
- Went to the Longmont United Hospital ER with a mild asthma attack. We’re fine now.
- Recorded a podcast interview for w3w3 (hopefully we’ll have it up on the blog in the coming week or two).
- Remarked about how gorgeous the weather was four times.
- Went to the gym twice.
- Played 12 games of ping-pong (Ignighter is training for the annual TechStars ping-pong tournament. You hear that Flux Capacity?).
- Went to Startup Drinks with some members of the Boulder Startup community.
- Had mentoring meetings with five different people who know way more than we do.
- Listened to Kid Rock’s All Summer Long eight times.
- Watched the video for Kid Rock’s All Summer Long six times.
- Oh yeah, and we also worked. A TON.
