Some photos from IDay

A week after Investor Day and things haven’t really slowed down here. In fact they’ve been more hectic than we could have imagined. The anticipation of Investor Day caused stress, over/undereating, and so much sequestered preparation that people were even telling me that I was pale! Me! Pale! Absurd.

But now that a week has passed we’re finally able to look back fondly at what was a really enjoyable day. Kudos to the other nine TechStars companies, your presentations were truly inspiring.

Below are a few pics from ours (please excuse the blurriness. Molly’s nerves led her to drink 4 bloody marys before our 10am presentation):

1. Things started off kind of awkwardly when David accidentally introduced me as Michael Cera and Dan as Jonah Hill:

2. What good is presenting to 300 people if you can’t include giant pictures of your already oversized head?

3. Dan rocked the live demo of the product while Kevin expertly “drove” by pretending to type and use the mouse. Nicky supervised.

4. It took a little while for the Jewish cow joke to sink in. But once it did, audience members were roaring with confusion.

5. At night we all went out to The Kitchen to celebrate. This picture is great for four reasons. A) Austin is still dressed like a pilot, complaining about the layover he has to make in Cincinatti. 2) Dan has one giant tooth. III) Molly is cringing after eating ramekins of ketchup for money (due to the economy, Ignighter has had to make some budget cuts recently. And unfortunately, Molly’s nonexistant salary was the first to go). Quatre) Micah is maniacally laughing because he’s realizing that coughing up $20 for Molly to eat a ramekin of ketchup was actually a terrific investment.
